Terms of Use
By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Your actual use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these Terms of Use. (The contract for use of the Service, which is formed between you and us upon your agreement to these Terms of Use, is referred to as the “Contract”).
About the services we provide
Talisman Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) provides the services set forth below.
- Job Information Services
- The “Job Information Services” is a service that allows users to search, browse, and apply for jobs posted on the Company’s Internet site ( hereinafter referred to as the “Site”), as well as to receive e-mail and other information. If we receive a job application from a user, we may not recommend the user for the position or may contact the user on behalf of the employer to inform them that the user does not meet the criteria for the position, based on our assessment of the user’s suitability for the position in accordance with the selection criteria provided by the employer.
- Agent Services
- Agent service is a service in which our career consultant selects and introduces jobs that seem to be a good match for the user based on the user’s career, skills, aptitude, and future orientation, from our job data and other information we have.
This service includes career counseling services, resume writing support, pre-interview and post-interview questionnaires, and other information and mailings to support job search and job change activities.
We reserve the right to refuse the use of this service in the event that we deem it inappropriate to provide this service to users.
About ID/Password
The Company may issue and grant IDs and passwords to Users.
Users shall be responsible for the use and management of the IDs and passwords issued and granted to them, and shall not allow any third party to use or transfer the IDs and passwords granted to them.
Submission of Documents
Users shall promptly submit the following documents to the Company when requested by the Company. Personal information received by the Company will be handled appropriately in accordance with the Company’s privacy policy.
- Identification documents to identify and confirm the user’s identity, such as name and address
- Residence card or certificate of employment eligibility to confirm status of residence
- Other documents required by the Company or the employer
Responsibilities of Users
- Users shall agree to these Terms of Use, shall use the Service at their own risk, and shall be responsible for all use of the Service.
- The user shall provide the Company and the Employer with personal information without any omissions or discrepancies and shall keep it accurate and up-to-date.In addition, if there is any change in the content of such personal information, the user shall promptly provide the changed content to the Company and the Employer.In the event that a dispute arises between a user and a employer or other third party as a result of information provided by the user to the Company or a recruiter, such as if the personal information provided by the user is not accurate and up-to-date, the user shall be responsible for handling the dispute and shall guarantee that the Company will not be inconvenienced in any way.
- If we determine that the personal information provided by a user is not accurate or up-to-date, we may ask the user whether or not to correct the information.
Copyrights
All intellectual property rights and other rights, including copyrights (including rights under Articles 27 and 28 of the Copyright Act), of the text, graphics, user interface, images, videos, trademarks, logos, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “Works, etc.”) that comprise or are displayed on this Site belong to the Company or third parties that have provided Works, etc. to the Company.
Prohibitions
Users shall not engage in any of the following acts when using the Service
- Providing false or inaccurate information
- Actions that defame, slander, or threaten individuals or organizations. Or any action that may do so.
- Acts that infringe or may infringe the rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights
- Use information obtained through this service beyond the scope of personal use, or disclose or provide information to a third party, regardless of the method of reproduction, sale, publication, or any other method.
- Using information obtained through this service to demand money from us or a third party, or to cause disadvantage or damage to us or a third party.
- Any action that interferes with the smooth operation of this service, or damages the reputation or credibility of the Company or the employer, or any action that has the potential to do so.
- Absence from interviews, screening tests, or interviews without a valid reason and without prior notice
- Any action that obstructs or may obstruct the business of the relevant employer by repeatedly applying for the same job to the same employer.
- Actions that belong to organizations related to antisocial forces, etc., or that have or may have inappropriate relationships with antisocial forces, such as providing benefits to or using them.
Our Responsibility
- If the Company is negligent, the Company shall be liable only for ordinary damages directly and actually caused by such negligence, and shall not be liable for any other damages for emotional or property damages incurred by the user as a result of use of the Service. However, this shall not apply if the damage was caused by the Company’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- In the event that the provision of this service is interrupted or the provision of this service becomes difficult due to damage that cannot be prevented by reasonable cyber security measures normally taken in information handling operations, or due to force majeure such as fire, power failure, or natural disasters not attributable to us, we shall not be liable for any damage incurred by the user as a result of this.
- The Company does not guarantee the accuracy of information provided to users, including corporate information and other information about third parties, corporate advertisements, job advertisements, and other information provided by third parties.
- The Company does not guarantee that this site will be free from errors or other defects, that the server, etc. will be free from viruses or other harmful elements, or that the system for providing this service will be free from other defects.
- The Company is under no obligation to respond to questions or otherwise deal with matters that are confidential to the Company and are used in the services provided by the Company.
- The Company does not guarantee that the use of the Service by the User will result in a successful job change.
Suspension or Termination of Service
The user may terminate this Agreement at any time by following the procedures prescribed by the Company, except in the following cases
- If you request termination of this Agreement after you have decided on a company to join through the Agent Services, but before the date you are scheduled to join that company
- When we determine that there is doubt as to whether the user is in compliance with these Terms of Use
We may change all or part of the contents of the Service or suspend provision of the Service without prior notice to users if we deem that any of the following events have occurred.
- When it is difficult to provide this service due to natural disasters, system trouble, or other unforeseen circumstances
- When we determine that a user has violated or is likely to violate any of the provisions of these Terms of Use
- If the user does not respond for a certain period of time to inquiries from the Company regarding the user’s compliance with these Terms of Use.
- When we deem it impossible to maintain the relationship of trust between us and the user
Changes to Terms of Service
The Company may change the contents of the Terms of Use in the following cases. If a user uses the Service after the effective date of the modified Terms of Use, the user is deemed to have agreed to the modified Terms of Use.
- When changes are necessary due to amendments to laws and regulations, etc.
- When changes are necessary due to changes in the specifications of this service
- Other cases in which changes are reasonably necessary to provide the Service.
Retention period of information
When we determine that the period necessary to provide this service has elapsed, we may delete information stored on our servers regarding communications with our company or employers, as well as users’ registration information. After deletion, the information cannot be restored. Users shall take necessary measures to prevent any disadvantage or damage to themselves based on the circumstances described in this provision, at their own responsibility and expense.
Damages
If a user violates these Terms of Use or causes damage to the Company, a Employer, or a third party in the use of the Service, the user shall indemnify the Company, the Employer, or the third party for all damages, whether direct or indirect.
Receipt of personal information from employers, etc.
In order to properly operate this service, the Company may provide information or confirm facts related to a person’s application, selection, job offer, or employment with a employer. You agree to allow employers to provide such information to us.
Matters requiring consultation
In the event of any ambiguity in the interpretation of these Terms of Use or any matter not stipulated herein, the Company and the user shall resolve such ambiguity through good-faith consultation.
