Talisman, Corp. respects LGBTQ+ employees and their partnerships and recognizes the importance of diversity and inclusivity. We have recently developed our LGBTQ+-friendly guidelines and have updated the definitions related to leave accrual and other related issues.
Developing new guidelines
Our guidelines are designed to provide a safe working environment for LGBTQ+ employees. This includes education and awareness about sexual orientation and gender identity, respect for privacy, as well as prohibition of discrimination and harassment.
Change in definitions of “marriage,” “spouse,” and “child” in leave accrual, etc.
We have also changed our leave system to ensure that all employees respect their identity and live their lives with pride. Specifically, we have changed the definitions of “marriage,” “spouse,” and “children” and expanded the scope of special leave and other benefits.
